Printing & scanning
Printing – UFIT offers black & white and color printing across different locations at UF. At Marston, printers are located on the first and second floors:
- First floor (basement): black & white printing and color printing, poster printing, and UFIT Printing Help Desk.
- Second floor: black & white and color printing

3D Printing – Marston’s 3D printing service is located on the first floor (Marston Makerspace). It’s open to anyone (the UF community and the general public). Use this link to learn how to request a print. Once your 3D model is printed, you will be notified that it’s ready for pickup.
Scanning – Find flatbed scanners on Marston’s 1st and 2nd floor computer labs. Large standalone scanners, ideal for scanning books, are located on the 2nd floor near the computer lab. At Marston, scanners are located on the first and second floors:
- First floor: 6 flatbed scanners (9″x12″) (lab next to L136)
- Second floor: 4 flatbed scanners (9″x12″) and 2 KIC Bookeye scanner with automatic document feeder (computer lab)
More than just tools!
In addition to regular tools (e.g., adapters, scientific/graphing calculators, headphones, extension cord, skeleton model), you can borrow different types of items at Marston: from Dungeons & Dragons kits (Adventurer, Master, and Party Kits) to Study Buddies (Cozy critters made of crochet to keep students company during study sessions). What is the Marston Makerspace?
Located on the first floor (basement), the Marston Makerspace is a fun and welcoming workspace for creative projects and collaboration. It provides a variety of tools and equipment, including:
- Sewing & embroidery machines
- Soldering & electronics workbench
- Power & hand tools
- Iron and ironing board
- and more
Please note:
- While Marston has an extensive circulating tools & tech collection, the items in the Makerspace do NOT circulate and are for in-Makerspace use only.
- Some items (e.g., skeleton model) can only be used within Marston.
